Privacy policy

Updated October 15, 2026

This policy explains how R1 Systems handles information when you visit r1-systems.com, configure products, or contact us. Privacy questions can be sent to info@r1-systems.com.

Information you provide

When you submit a product inquiry, we collect your name, email address, product selections, quantities, and any notes you provide. Company and phone details are optional. Messages sent directly to us may contain similar information.

We use this information to review requirements, discuss product details and pricing, respond to you, and maintain the related correspondence. We store the inquiry and send a confirmation to you and an inquiry email to our team. Please do not include passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information in inquiry notes.

Payments and orders

When secure Checkout is available, Stripe collects payment details, billing information, and contact details on its hosted payment page. We pass your quoted delivery address to Stripe. R1 does not receive your full card number or security code. We store the ordered products, quantities, amounts, payment references, payment status, and customer email to reconcile orders and handle customer service. Shipping details remain available to our team in Stripe for fulfillment.

Stripe also processes hosted invoices and payment adjustments such as refunds and disputes. See Stripe’s privacy policy. Payment processing operates independently of optional analytics consent.

We collect your delivery address before payment and share it with EasyPost to obtain shipping rates. EasyPost holds shipment and selected-service details for shipping operations. Shipping references are linked to your order. Address and quote details stay in page memory while you choose shipping; they are not sent to analytics. See EasyPost’s privacy policy.

Website and security information

Hosting and security services process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, request times, and error information. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on inquiry and Checkout requests to help distinguish visitors from automated submissions. It processes security signals from your browser; our server also sends the request IP address to Cloudflare when verifying a submission.

Security verification and website delivery operate independently of your optional analytics choice. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum for its processing details.

Your cart and browser storage

Your browser stores the inquiry cart locally so your selected products, configuration details, item notes, and quantities remain available between visits. Your contact fields are not saved in the cart’s browser storage. The website also stores your analytics preference in that browser. A Checkout attempt identifier and its cart snapshot help safely resume payment requests after a connection failure.

You can remove cart items or clear this website’s storage using your browser settings. Clearing storage also removes the saved analytics choice, so the website may ask again. Choices are specific to each browser and device.

Optional Google Analytics

If you choose Allow analytics, we load Google Analytics to measure page visits, visible product cards, product selections, configuration engagement, cart actions, inquiry activity, and resource interactions. Google uses cookies and browser identifiers to measure visits and processes technical information such as browser and device details. This collection is not anonymous.

Our application’s analytics events send public product identity and quantity, rather than your contact fields, inquiry notes, or custom configuration text. We exclude arbitrary query strings and URL fragments from the page URLs sent by our tracking code. Short campaign labels from tagged links may be included. After analytics consent, we also retain those labels and limited landing/referral information with a submitted inquiry to understand how visitors found us.

Google signals, user-provided data collection, and advertising personalization are disabled in our current Analytics setup. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can decline analytics and still browse products and submit an inquiry. Use Analytics preferences below the footer to change your choice in the browser you are using. Withdrawing consent does not erase information already collected. You may also use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Services handling information

We use service providers to operate the website and process the information described above:

  • Vercel for website hosting and request processing.
  • Supabase for product inquiry and order storage.
  • Stripe for payments, invoices, and payment status.
  • EasyPost for shipping quotes and fulfillment.
  • Resend for inquiry and confirmation email delivery.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile for submission security.
  • Google Analytics for optional visit and interaction measurement.

Inquiry information is made available to our team for review and follow-up. Providers may process information outside the country where you live. Links to other websites are governed by those websites’ own privacy policies.

Information retention

We keep inquiry records and related correspondence while needed to handle inquiries and ongoing business. We review these records periodically and handle deletion requests sent to info@r1-systems.com, taking account of any records we need to retain.

Our current Google Analytics settings retain event and user data for fourteen months. New activity can restart the user data retention period. These limits do not apply to most aggregated Analytics reports. Cart data and your analytics choice remain in your browser until removed or cleared; hosting, security, and email providers use their own retention settings.

Privacy questions and requests

Contact info@r1-systems.com to ask about information you provided or request access, correction, or deletion. Include enough context for us to find the relevant inquiry without sending unnecessary sensitive information. We may need to verify that the request relates to you, and will review it in light of applicable requirements and any records we need to retain.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its effective date when this policy changes. Check it when submitting new information or reviewing your privacy choices.
